How to upgrade Android and fix Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery in Kies and try again:
- On your PC, right-click the Odin 1.85.exe and select Run As Administrator.
- Completely power off your phone.
- While holding the Volume Down button, press and hold the Power Button and the Home button as well until the phone reboots to your Download Screen.
- A screen will appear asking you to confirm your decision to enter Download Mode. Press Volume Up to confirm. (If you change your mind, press and hold just the Power Button and the phone will exit Download Mode and reboot normally.)
- Plug your phone into your computer with the factory supplied USB cable. It may try to install some drivers. If it does let it finish completely.
- Odin will recognize your phone which is indicated by the top-left box in Odin turning yellow and ID COM displaying some numbers.
- If this doesn't happen then start over from the beginning.
- On the bottom right hand side of Odin select the PDA button.
- Navigate to the Unzipped file that you downloaded earlier. Select it.
- Press the Start button in Odin and let the phone reboot on its own. Do not unplug your phone until it has rebooted or you risk hard bricking it.
- Let the phone completely reboot. It may take a minute or two.
- Once it reboots (it can take a couple of minutes and might get stuck on the boot screen) press and hold Volume Up+Home+Power Button until you are booted into the recovery screen.
- Select factory wipe and reboot the phone - it needed!

خطوات لابد منها:
- إذا لم يكن لديك برنامج سامسونج كيز فقم بتحميله من هذا الرابط
- لابد أن تقوم بتوصيل الجهاز ببرنامج سامسونج كيز ليتم تعريفه على الكمبيوتر
- قم بإغلاق برنامج سامسونج كيز تماماً وتأكد أنه لا يعمل بجوار الساعة بأسفل
- قم بتحميل برنامج أودين عبر هذا الرابط
- قم بتحميل التحديث الرسمي للأيس كريم ساندوتش 4.0.3 عبر هذا الرابط وقم بفك الضغط عنه
والآن قم بإغلاق التاب تماماً ثم إضغط على الأزرار التالية
زر الصوت الملاصق لزر الباور + زر الباور
وستجد وضعي الداونلود والريكفري
للتنقل بينهم عن طريق زر الصوت قم باختيار وضع Downloading عن طريق زر الصوت البعيد عن الباور
ستظهر لك رسالة تحذير اضغط على نفس الزر مرة أخرى للإستمرار Continue
قم بتشغيل برنامج Odin
ثم قم بإختيار الملف الخاص بالتحديث كما في الصورة التالية
والآن قم بتوصيل الجهاز الخاص بك للكمبيوتر بالكيبل الأصلي وسيظهر لك مربع أزرق في خانة ID:COM وسيقوم البرنامج بالتعرف على الهاتف
بعدها قم بالضغط على كلمة Start لبدء التحديث
انتظر حتى ينتهي البرنامج وسيقوم الجهاز بإعادة التشغيل تلقائياً
لا تنسى عمل فورمات بعد التحديث ليعمل الجهاز بشكل مستقر
